Hello all!!
I promised I would do a post on my LASIK. I have 2 more hours at one of my jobs and things are slow, so I figured now...
It was a PHENOMENAL experience! The surgery, itself, was only about 15 minutes long, and it consisted of two lasers and two microscope checks. It...
So on twitter some on said something about Plainfield, NJ Board of Education on Fox 5… I knew I was too late so I went to google “Plainfield BoE” and found:
MyCentralJersey.com — The controversy, first reported last year by the Courier News, involves high-ranking district administrators Lesly Borge and Lalelei Kelly. Union County Superintendent Carmen Centuolo in October 2009 asked the city School Board to rescind the contracts of both women, citing a lack of New Jersey certification. The board in November 2009 voted unanimously to do so, but also voted 6-1 to rehire both to different titles at salaries of a little more than $100,000. A subsequent Courier News investigation revealed that Borge and Kelly were full-time teachers in Florida before being hired in July 2008 as administrators here, both previously having worked in the same Miami district as current city Schools Superintendent Steve Gallon III.
More from the website — (Arnold) Diaz said Wednesday’s segment will cover the credentialing issue as well as “two different occasions when (Gallon) changed either job descriptions or job titles to allow them (Borge and Kelly) to continue earning six-figure salaries.” Diaz said he attempted to speak with all three officials on camera, but Borge and Kelly declined to be interviewed and Gallon only agreed to speak with him “after running from us twice.”

Check out this song about Plainfield by my friend T.J.
TJ is a Plainfield resident, like me, and a Plainfield High School class of 2006 graduate, also like me, who made an amazing song about problems in Plainfield, NJ (NSFW) It has STRONG LANGUAGE used in context!
My favorite line is near the end when TJ, better known as True Lies, states:
“We don’t get noticed / I swear I need a way out / ‘Cause all they care about is the Drake House”
